A Day in the Life of an Administrator

Book Writing

One of my bucket list items is to write a book or two. I have several titles that come to mind that I may be pursuing soon.

NEW     5 Tips for Choosing the Right Toilet Paper at Church
This is such an important topic that people are letting me know their choice during intermission at the All Church Christmas Musical.

Hold Your Tongue: Things I Really Wanted To Say That I Didn't
I have said this for years that I could write a book on the ridiculous comments and complaints I have received while being a Church Administrator. What I really want to write about are the responses I wanted to give but didn't out of respect and courtesy. Most are comical now that I look back on them, but they would still make a greet read.

How to Complain to a Minister
Another great title I am contemplating is about the correct procedures for stating a complaint in a respectful way to a minister. I have been amazed at the crass and blunt method people choose to use to voice their complaints. This book would be a great compliment to the first book title.

Really: Did You Just Say That Out Loud
Another great and fun read would be to write about the unbelievable comments people just blurt out loud not realizing what they said. I have been in the ministry full time for over 19 years an believe me I have heard it all. Yes even church going people can say the wrong thing at the wrong time.

For obvious reasons, I am waiting until I retire to write these.
